Michał Burzyński is a researcher at Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER). He holds a PhD in economics from Universite catholique de Louvain and Poznan University of Economics (2016). The main research interests tackle the questions of economic causes and consequences of international migration, the impact of migrants on origin and destination labour markets, migrants’ self-selection and assimilation, interactions between migration and international trade, as well as the way that climate change affects global distribution of economic activity, Inequality, and human migration at various geographical scales.
