Mirko Wiederholt

Professor of Economics, Sciences Po

Mirko Wiederholt is Professor of Economics at Sciences Po, Paris since 2018. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Review of Economic Studies, a CEPR Research Fellow for two programme areas (Monetary Economics and Fluctuations, International Macroeconomics and Finance), a CESifo Research Fellow, and a Research Fellow of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He did his PhD in Economics at the European University Institute, was an assistant professor of Economics at Northwestern University and Humboldt University Berlin, and a full professor at Goethe University Frankfurt, before joining Sciences Po.

His research focuses on business cycles and monetary as well as fiscal policy. He also studies how humans process information and how their beliefs affect their decisions.

His research has been published in The American Economic Review, The Review of Economic Studies, and the Journal of Monetary Economics, among other journals.
