Mónica Correa-López

Economist, Banco de España

Mónica Correa-López is an Economist at the Bank of Spain. She also teaches at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in a postgraduate training programme. Previously, she held an Economist position at BBVA Research. Mónica received her B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III and her Ph.D. from the University of Warwick, while furthering her research by visiting various European Universities. Her interests are in the fields of macroeconomics and industrial organisation, currently focused on medium-term business cycles, technology diffusion, firms’ performance in international markets, and inflation. She has published in the Journal of Industrial Economics, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, among others.
