Moshe Hazan

Associate Professor of Economics, Tel-Aviv University; Research Fellow, CEPR

Moshe Hazan is an Associate Professor of Economics at Tel-Aviv University, a Research Fellow at the CEPR and an Associate Editor at Journal of Population Economics. He also serves as a member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of Israel. Hazan received his Ph.D. from the Hebrew University in 2002 and spent a year as a Post–Doctoral Fellow at MIT. During the academic year 2009-2010, he held a position of a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on understanding the determinants of long-run economic growth and its interaction with demographic change and gender differences. It also concentrates on current demographic trends in developed countries and their interaction with income inequality and economic growth.
