Natasha Agarwal

Research Economist, Research and Outcome

Natasha Agarwal is an independent research economist. Having completed her PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham (UK), she has worked in various capacities at Oxford University (UK), University of Birmingham (UK), University of Nottingham (UK), International Growth Centre (UK), Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (India), Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (Reserve Bank of India, India), and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (India). Her research has often been cited in the media including Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Quartz, Scroll.in, Global Trade Review, among others.

Natasha joins the R&O team as a Research Fellow. Her research examines trade policy, trade financing, and climate change. She is the co-author of Balancing the Regulations and Taxation of Banking.
