Olivier Sterck

Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer, University of Oxford

Olivier Sterck is development economist at the University of Oxford and lead economist of the Refugee Economies Programme (REP). His research is multidisciplinary in scope, building bridges between development economics, health economics, and refugee studies. His work on HIV/AIDS examines how to encourage prevention and increase access to antiretroviral therapies in high-prevalence countries. With the REP, Olivier has also been analysing the impact of various cash transfer models on the socio-economic outcomes of refugee households and refugee businesses in the Kakuma refugee camp and the Kalobeyei settlement.
