Patrick McAlvanah

Patrick McAlvanah is an Economist in the consumer protection division of the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission. His research interests are behavioral economics, applied microeconomics, and experimental economics. He has published research on risk preferences, psychological biases in how bookies set their odds, and the interaction of impatience and food prices on obesity. He holds a B.S. from Tulane University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
