Plamen Nikolov

Plamen Nikolov is an Economist in the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission. He joined the European Commission in 2010, prior to that he was teaching at the American University in Bulgaria. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Fordham University in the United States. His research interests cover the economic and monetary union in Europe, the role of financial intermediaries and economics of reforms.
