Rachel Cassidy

Post-doctoral Fellow, Institute for Fiscal Studies

Rachel Cassidy is a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and a member of the University of Oxford's Centre for the Study of African Economies. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford. She is a development economist who applies methods and insights from experimental and behavioural economics. Her research currently focuses on intra-household bargaining and its implications for violence against women and girls, child marriage, and adoption of contraceptive technologies; as well as on time preferences and savings behaviour.
