Rémy Lecat

Rémy Lecat is Deputy Director of the European and Multilateral Policies Directorate at Banque de France, which is in charge, among others, of analysing European economic structures and their potential developments. He is alternate representative of Banque de France at the Economic and Financial Committee of the EU Council and member of the management committee of the French Economic Association.  He has a long-standing experience combining academic research and policy analysis. He headed several research divisions and worked in international macroeconomics division at Banque de France. His research articles bear on growth, productivity and the housing market and he published in the Review of Economics and Statistics and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, among others. He holds a PhD from PSE, a Master from Cambridge University and the Diploma from Sciences Po Paris.
