Robert Metcalfe is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Economics at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics, University of Chicago. His research is directed at developing and testing economic and behavioural theory using naturally occurring data and field experiments. He is currently conducting a number of large field experiments in many different domains. He is also interested in the impact of affect and hormones on behavior, and the role of decision and experienced utility for policy appraisal.
