Rocco Huang

Assistant Professor of Finance, Michigan State University

Rocco Huang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Michigan State University (Eli Broad College of Business). Currently he also is a Fellow at the Wharton Financial Institutions Center (University of Pennsylvania), and a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Prior to joining the academia, he was a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia (2007-2010). He has done both empirical and theoretical research on corporate finance, financial institutions, and corporate governance.

He has published at the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Intermediation, the European Economic Review, and the Journal of Development Economics. He was a Consultant at the World Bank (2004-2006), and a Visiting Scholar at the Deutsche Bundesbank (2007) and the European Central Bank (2007), and was awarded the European Central Bank Lamfalussy Fellowship. For graduate-level training, Rocco Huang received a Ph.D. in Finance (2007) from the University of Amsterdam and an M.Phil. in Economics (2003) from the University of Cambridge.
