Ross Levine

Ross Levine is the Willis H. Booth Chair in Banking and Finance at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Intermediation and the Journal of Economic Growth.

Ross Levine received his doctorate from UCLA and worked at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the World Bank. His research focuses on the linkages between financial regulation, the operation of financial systems, and the functioning of the economy as well as on the factors shaping innovation and entrepreneurship.
