Salvatore Nisticò is Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Social and Economic Sciences of Sapienza University in Rome. He holds a B.A. in Economics from LUISS G. Carli and a PhD in Economics from University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. His main research areas are closed- and open-economy macroeconomics, monetary economics and central banking. Salvatore Nisticò is author of papers published in leading academic journals. He is currently Member of the Managing Board and Head of the Monetary Policy Unit of CASMEF (Arcelli Center for Monetary and Financial Studies) and Associate Editor of Economic Notes.
