Sarah Lein

Associate Professor of Economics, University of Basel and CEPR Research Fellow

Sarah Lein is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Basel. She is also a research fellow of the CEPR and at the KOF ETH Zurich. Prior to joining the University of Basel, she worked as a senior economist in the Swiss National Bank. She holds a doctoral degree (PhD) from the University of Zurich.

Her research interests lie in the fields of empirical macroeconomics and international macroeconomics. Her recent research focuses on the effect of exchange-rate changes on prices and expenditures, on the role of currency of invoicing for allocations, and on inflation measurement.
