Sebastian Heise

Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Sebastian Heise is an economist in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His work focuses on worker and firm mobility across space and on how long-term trade relationships between firms affect the economy. He graduated from Yale University in 2016 before joining the New York Fed. Prior to that, he worked for the Bank of England in the financial stability division from 2008-2010.
