Sebastian Siegloch

Head of Research Area Social Policy and Redistribution, ZEW Mannheim; Professor of Economics, University of Mannheim

Sebastian Siegloch is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim. He is currently on leave, visiting the University of California Berkeley. His work is at the intersection of public, labor and urban economics, focusing on how regional policies affect local labor and housing markets. Sebastian received his PhD from the University of Cologne, spending part of his doctoral studies visiting the University of Oxford. Before joining the University of Mannheim, he was a Postdoc at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA) in Bonn.
