Steven Kamin

Deputy Director, Division of International Finance at The Federal Reserve Board

Steven B. Kamin is a Deputy Director of the International Finance Division of the Federal Reserve Board, where he is responsible for monitoring and analysing developments in international financial markets. He has also served as a Visiting Economist at the Bank for International Settlements, a Senior Economist for international financial affairs at the Council of Economic Advisors, and as a Consultant for the World Bank. Mr. Kamin has published research on range of topics including international finance and monetary policy, capital flows, exchange rates, and recently on global patterns of current account imbalances. He received a Ph.D. in economics from MIT in 1987.
