Associate Professor of Economics, California State University

Steve Yamarik is an Associate Professor of Economics at California State University at Long Beach. Steve received both his B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked previously at Tufts University, Oberlin College, and the University of Akron. Steve’s research interests are in economic growth, international trade and regional economics. His current work focuses on externalities in education and the link between interstate conflict and economic growth; and can be found at
