Sydnee Caldwell

Sydnee Caldwell is a labor economist whose research focuses on wage-setting, competition in the labor market, and social networks. She will join the University of California, Berkeley as an assistant professor with a joint appointment in the Haas School of Business (EAP) and the Department of Economics in July 2020.

She received her BA from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012 and her PhD from MIT in 2019. Prior to beginning her PhD, she worked in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
