Takeshi Kimura

Deputy Director-General, Financial System and Bank Examination Department, Bank of Japan

Takeshi Kimura is Deputy Director-General of Financial System and Bank Examination Department at the Bank of Japan (BOJ). Prior to his current position, he was Associate Director-General in the BOJ’s Monetary Affairs Department. Takeshi has also previously visited and worked at the Federal Reserve Board. He holds a Ph.D. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and an M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
