Tim Schmidt-Eisenlohr

Principal Economist, International Finance Division, Federal Reserve Board

Tim Schmidt-Eisenlohr is a Principal Economist in the International Finance division of the Federal Reserve Board and an affiliate of CESifo, Munich. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Taxation at the University of Oxford and a member of Nuffield College. His research focuses on international finance and trade finance but also covers international tax competition and banking. He received a PhD from the European University Institute in Florence in May 2010.
