Tommaso Sonno

Assistant Professor, University of Bologna

Tommaso Sonno is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna. He is also affiliated at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, and Adjunct Professor at Bocconi University and at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Tommaso’s research focuses on international economics and political economy. He has studied the relationship between trade and conflicts, and global value networks. He is currently analysing the impact of multinational enterprises on violence in developing countries, the dynamics of populism, and the effect that financial frictions have on the processes of reallocation of resources.
