Yuyu Chen

Associate Professor of Applied Economics in the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University

Yuyu Chen is an Associate Professor of Applied Economics in the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He is also the Co-founder and Deputy Director of the Institute of Economic and Policy Research (IEPR). He received his BA of Economics from Peking University in 1994, and PhD of Economics from Australian National University in 2002. Between 1994 and 1999, he was a Research Officer in the State Commission for Restructuring Economic System in China. Professor Chen specialises in labour economics and development economics. His research covers social learning, human capital, air pollution, prenatal health, consumption inequality, the linkage of religion and growth, and migration in China.
