Vanessa Gunnella is a Senior Economist in the Euro Area External Sector Division at the European Central Bank. Her research and policy work are mainly in the field of International Economics, with a focus on Global Value Chains, shocks transmission, protectionism. She received her PhD in Economics from University of Bologna and she holds a master in Economics from University of Rome La Sapienza.
