Alejandro Badel

Alejandro Badel is a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund. Alejandro has held research and policy positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the World Bank and the IMF as well as graduate and undergraduate teaching positions at Georgetown University. Alejandro’s quantitative, empirical and software developing work, which includes high tier publications, covers topics in macro labor, public finance, monetary policy, racial and gender inequality, and structural policy for macro development and climate change from a general equilibrium perspective.
