Professor Babus's research interests concern trade in over-the-counter markets and financial intermediation. Prior to joining Washington University's economics department in 2017, Ana Babus was a financial economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Previously, she served as a research fellow at the University of Cambridge, a postdoc at Princeton University’s Bendheim Center for Finance, and an assistant professor at Imperial College London. Babus’ research has appeared in such publications as Journal of Financial Economics and RAND Journal of Economics.
