Andreea Mitrut is an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Gothenburg and a Research Fellow at Stockholm School of Economics, SITE. Her expertise and current interests are at the intersection of labor economics, public economics, and political economy. She contributed to different streams of literature, including on Early Child Development, Fertility and Family Planning (esp. Abortion), Education, Corruption, and Social Exclusion. Andreea obtained her PhD in 2008 from University of Gothenburg and was previously an Assistant Professor at Uppsala University.
