Arjan Trinks is an environmental economist at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. His research interests include: climate policy, sustainable finance, climate risk, and corporate social responsibility. His recent work studies how firms respond to and are affected by (current and upcoming) climate policy and how financial markets may help or hinder sustainability transitions. He holds a PhD in sustainable finance and masters in both finance and philosophy from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Edinburgh Business School (UK). His studies have been published in reputable journals, such as The Energy Journal, Ecological Economics, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews.
