Billur Aksoy earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2019. As a behavioral and experimental economist, she studies topics related to public and labor economics. Her research primarily focuses on economic issues associated with identity economics, specifically concerning gender and LGBTQ+ identities, social preferences, and discrimination. Additionally, she is interested in exploring the impact of technology on educational outcomes.
