Dong Yan is an Associate Professor of Finance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Research Fellow at the Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). Dong obtained her Ph.D. in Finance in 2015 from HKUST Business School. Before joining Erasmus, she was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). Dong’s research interest lies in the interaction of corporate financing and investment. She has published in the Review of Financial Studies. Her current work covers how the stock market affects private firms’ investment through an information spillover channel, and how callable bonds reduce debt overhang.
