Ellen McGrattan

Monetary Adviser at Federal Reserve Board of Minneapolis

Ellen McGrattan is currently a Monetary Adviser at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis but will soon be joining the faculty at the University of Minnesota Department of Economics. She is a fellow of the Econometric Society, a fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, a Research Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a member of the BEA Advisory Committee, and Treasurer of the Society for Economic Dynamics. McGrattan received her B.S. in economics and mathematics from Boston College and her Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University. Her research has focused on the aggregate effects of monetary and fiscal policy.
