Johannes Kasinger is an assistant professor of Marketing at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM). His research applies microeconometric methods and economic theory to study policy-relevant questions at the intersection of industrial organization, behavioral economics, public economics, and quantitative marketing. Individual information processing and choice under uncertainty are central to most of his papers. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Quantitative Economics from the Goethe University Frankfurt, an M.Sc. in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Zurich. During his Ph.D. studies, he served as Head of Policy Center at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE and visited the Economics department at the University of California, Berkeley.
