Marco Brianti obtained his first degree from University of Parma in 2012 and his M.Sc. from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Modena in 2014. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics in the Economics Department at Boston College. He has been an Intern at the Bank of Italy in 2015 and taught at Boston College Macroeconomics Principles. Marco Brianti is currently working on the primary sources of business cycle fluctuations and their interaction with uncertainty, risk and financial frictions. His research has been presented at leading conferences, such as the Society for Economics Dynamics, Midwest Macro Meetings, as well as at the Bank of England and at the Bank of Canada.
