Marco Wagner

Marco Wagner is an Economist for Financial Markets at the German Council of Economic Experts (GCEE). Previously, he worked as an Economist and Research Assistant at the University of Bayreuth where he was mainly concerned with studies on international trade and globalisation issues. He had visiting positions at the University of Sydney and Massey University (New Zealand). He is a former student of the University of Bayreuth and also holds a Ph.D. in economics from his alma mater. His main areas of research are macroeconomics, financial regulation and stability as well as issues on international trade and globalisation.
