Marialuz Moreno Badia

Marialuz Moreno Badia is Deputy Chief in the IMF's Fiscal Affairs Department, where she is leading the work on global debt and has coordinated various issues of the Fiscal Monitor. She has extensive experience on a broad range of advanced and emerging market economies such as Brazil, China, Greece, Ireland, and Spain. Her main research interests are on fiscal institutions, debt sustainability, and fiscal-financial interlinkages.
