Maximilian Mayer is a PhD student at the Goethe University Frankfurt. He received his B.Sc. in Economics at Humboldt University Berlin, his M.Sc. in Money and Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt.His research focuses on the theoretical and empirical analysis of labor markets with assortative matching. His recent work tries to understand the effects of automation and globalization on labor markets and the role of firm networks for the transmission of information.
