Niels Gilbert is a Senior Economist in the Economics and Research division of De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank). He works on monetary policy, fiscal policy and European integration. He holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, a BSc in Economics and Law from Utrecht University, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen
