Peter Chen

Peter Chen is a Finance PhD student at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. His primary area of research lies in the intersection between macroeconomics and corporate finance. Most recently, his joint work with Loukas Karabarbounis and Brent Neiman documents the global rise of corporate saving. His secondary area of interest is in international macroeconomics and finance. Before pursuing a PhD, Peter worked at McKinsey and Company and the Federal Reserve, Board of Governors. Peter holds an MA in economics and a BA in mathematics, both from the University of California, Los Angeles.
