Roger Smeets (1981) is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and the Department of Global Economics and Management at the University of Groningen. He received his PhD-degree in 2009 from the Radboud University Nijmegen. His research interests center around the productivity impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), microeconomic patterns of international trade, and determinants and consequences of (directed) technical change.
