Tianlei Huang

Research Fellow at Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE)

Tianlei Huang is a research fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington D.C. His research focuses on the Chinese economy. He previously worked at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the Brookings Institution’s Center for East Asia Policy Studies, Hudson Institute and World Resources Institute, among others. Huang holds a master's degree in international economics and Southeast Asia studies (2018) from Johns Hopkins University SAIS and a master of law degree in political science (2018) from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He received his bachelor's degree in international politics (2015) from Fudan University in Shanghai.
