Tibor Zavadil

Tibor studied at several universities in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Russia, France and The Netherlands, from which he holds four Master degrees in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics and Econometrics. After obtaining his PhD in Applied Economics at the VU University in Amsterdam, he continued as a post-doctoral researcher at the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan in Paris. Then he worked as a senior researcher at the central bank of Slovakia, where he was responsible for the Household Finance and Consumption Survey (HFCS). Currently he works as a data scientist in insurance sector, analysing huge amounts of various data by means of machine-learning techniques.
