Vegard H. Larsen has been a research economist at Norges Bank since 2016. He is also affiliated with the Centre for Applied Macroeconomics and Commodity Prices at BI Norwegian Business School. Larsen has a Master of Science in Economics from NTNU and received his PhD in economics from BI Norwegian Business School in 2017. He is broadly interested in macroeconomics, where he often makes use of methods from machine learning and natural language processing.
