Wataru Souma

Wataru Souma is an associate professor of physics at the College of Science and Technology, Nihon University (2009-present). He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Kanazawa University in 1996 and studied High Energy Physics at Kyoto University (1998-2001). He served as a researcher at Advanced Telecommunication Research Laboratories (ATR) (2001-2006), senior researcher at ATR (2006-2009), research specialist at National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NiCT) (2006-2009), and visiting researcher at the Institute of Economic Research at Hitotsubashi University (2009-2011). His research interests focus on econophysics, network science, scientmetrics, functional renormalization group, and quantum gravity.
