Will Wang

Will Wang is a Researcher in the Office of the Chief Economist at Microsoft AI & Research. He received his BS from Duke University and a PhD from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research is in the area of industrial organization and applied microeconomics. His research aims at optimizing firm decision making and improving market performance using microeconomic data. He has analyzed the impact of ownership concentration in the FCC incentive auction, state ownership reform in China, product line choices of smartphone brands and industrial policy in China, and supply chain optimization and market design in the public cloud market.
