Annamaria de Crescenzio

Economist and Manager, International Finance Unit at Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD)

Annamaria is an economist and manager in the International Finance Unit of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs, since 2011. She is a senior expert on multilateral instruments on capital movements, such as the OECD Codes of Liberalisation, and manages related negotiations on countries’ accession to the OECD. She has led research that contributes to the OECD analysis feeding the G20 Finance Ministers’ Track and has published more widely on capital flows and the effectiveness of capital controls and macroprudential measures. She is a co-organiser of the annual BdF-BdI-BoE-IMF-OECD Workshop on International Capital Flows. Prior to joining the OECD, she worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Goldman Sachs and some management consultancies. She holds a Diplôme de Grande École (ESCP Europe) and MSc in Finance (jointly from City, University of London, and Università di Torino).
