Augustin Landier

Resident Scholar at International Monetary Fund, Professor of Finance at Toulouse School Of Economics

Augustin Landier's research focuses on corporate finance and governance. His publications have appeared in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the Review of Economic Studies, among others. From September 2009, Augustin Landier has been a Professor of Finance at the Toulouse School of Economics. He was formerly an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at Stern Business School, New York University, and a Resident Scholar at the International Monetary Fund. Landier worked as a Director at Old Lane (Citi Alternative Investments) and co-founded Ada Investments. He graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure, received a PhD in Economics from MIT, was an Assistant Professor of Finance at NYU (Stern) and at the University of Chicago (GSB). He has published two books, Investing for Change (2009) and Le Grand Méchant Marché (2007).
