Chong Xiang is Professor of Economics at Purdue University. He got his PhD in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2002. His research includes how globalization and technology affect wages, inequality, and health, the roles of scale economies and factor proportions in trade patterns, quality and income distribution, the global trade in motion pictures, and the globalization of Christianity. He has published in the American Economic Review, Journal of International Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, and other academic journals.
