Dan Hammer

Research Assistant at Center for Global Development

Dan Hammer is a Research Assistant at the Center for Global Development, where he works on the Confronting Climate Change Initiative and on research regarding income distribution and the middle class. Dan joined the center after a one-year adventure in the South Pacific as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, where he studied the interaction between canoe culture and development. Dan is a graduate of Swarthmore College. He was a Lang Opportunity Scholar, using the social action grant to support the efforts of firefighters in developing communities. He graduated with high honors in economics and mathematics.
