Daniel Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the Global Economies and Markets group at the University Of Virginia Darden School Of Business. He received his PhD in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan. His research addresses issues in international and macroeconomics, including the effects of fiscal stimulus, the causes of fluctuations in the price of crude oil, the consequences of asymmetric economic growth, and the effect of urban density on time use and expenditure.
